Surprise!

Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit, the Giants win the Super Bowl!

Here I was, writing down my favorite commercials to write about tonight, but heck with that, I'll save those for tomorrow. What a game!

This was definitely one of the best Super Bowl games I've seen in a while (not counting last year, when my Colts won), and while I was right about the Patriots not covering the spread, I was wrong about them winning, and wrong about the high score. I don't feel too bad about it, because virtually every sports analyst was predicting the same outcome as I did. I'm amazed at the defense on both sides and the low score, and I'm so happy for Eli (he got the MVP trophy). Peyton was there cheering him on, and I bet he's as happy to see Eli win as he (Peyton) was to win last year.

Congratulations to the Patriots for a great season, but the Giants played their hearts out and hung in there to win the championship, so here's to the New York Giants. Huzzah!

I'm sorry, Traci. Since I'm not a regular fan of either team, I was able to step back and enjoy the game for the great contest it was...I know that as a Patriots fan, it wasn't so great for you to watch.

Congrats, Indy! I have to say that we were cheering for the Giants here, and I DO mean cheering. When they made that last touchdown, I stood and applauded. (I'm sorry, Traci, I really am! But I had to cheer for the underdog!) It was so unexpected and so exciting. It really was a great Super Bowl!
