Visitors.....

Lori over at Dusty Pages has started a neat new tradition: a Hee-Haw style salute (some will get this and some won't--I bet a YouTube search of "Hee-Haw salute" might turn up something) to various visitors  and their towns on her journal.

I won't copy her, although I wish I would have thought of this first! Drat it all! Ha!

It's a lot of fun to see all the places my visitors come from. Some I know, and some are mysteries. Some are from right here in town, and others are from places near and far, as close as Lafayette, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio and as far as Canada, London, Brisbane, a rare visit from Germany and Japan, and even rarer ones from places like Côte d'Ivoire, Nigeria, and Iran. Sometimes I get nothing more than a big ol' question mark, and I wonder who is this person and how did they come to my page? I find it mysterious and intriguing!

In the style of the Talking Heads, who is this person and why did they come here? How do I work this, and where is my large automobile?

"And you may ask yourself
Where does that highway go?
And you may ask yourself
Am I right? ...am I wrong?
And you may tell yourself
My god!...what have I done?"

Mmm, I'm foreseeing some Talking Heads in our weekend music appreciation future. One of my all-time favorite songs is "Psycho Killer," and while I love the song, I'd rather that Psychos stay away. Please!

I hope everyone has a great weekend, and I'm sure you'll see me hanging about....
