Hey, he's funny!

One of the great things about not working is that I don't turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of 10 PM. We've been staying up to watch "Saturday Night Live," and last night's season finale was a little spotty, but mostly funny.

I told Ken last night that I think Steve Carrell is the Steve Martin of this decade. Something about his delivery is just so dead on!

A fun surprise was Senator McCain's appearances on the show. While I enjoyed his faux commercial about how his "oldness" is such a plus, I found his appearance on "Weekend Update" and his advice to Democrats even funnier...what really cracked me up was suggesting that hey, why not put both Obama and Clinton on the ballot in the fall, and while you're at it, "kick the tires" on John Edwards again!

I give each candidate a lot of credit for their appearances on SNL. They've all done a great job, they've all shown that they have senses of humor, and they all seemed to really enjoy themselves. I need to find the Clintons' Halloween party skit, but in the meantime, here's Senator McCain's "Weekend Update" editorial.

I use to LOVE SNL !  "Live from New York, It's Saturday Night Live"
Man, the memories... Gilda Radner, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray.....
I never watched it much now but in the late 70's and early 80s, aweseome cast.

I do love Steve Carrell, he's great in the Office..ever see that show? Very funny.

Take Care
