Mem'ries...like the corners of my mind....

Y'know, I recall, as I was heading into work this morning, that when I parked my Mustang, I parked under sniper fire. I expected some kind of committee to greet me, but instead, I had to run with my head down to get into the golf cart, so that the security guard could drive me 50 yards to the entrance of the lab. This is what I recall.

But as I look back at the video, I think that maybe there was some little girl there...I don't know what she was doing there, because it was really really dangerous to be there, where I was, and seriously...it was really dangerous. But for some reason, that little girl was there. Oh, and as I watch the video, I remember having our cat there with me. Sheeba was traveling with me as a goodwill ambassador, because he really is very smart and cute and charming. He didn't seem to run with his head down to dodge the sniper fire, but as I look at the video...hmm...neither did I. We were both walking normally, as if we weren't under sniper fire. I don't know what is up with that...I remember it being really really dangerous. Seriously...it was dangerous. But in saying that, I may have misspoke.

Okay.

As Candy Crowley of CNN said, "This is the kind of thing that people hate about politicians."

In all honesty, I really can't and won't apologize for any hint of sarcasm you might have noticed <cough>, because...well, I just can't help it.

'Scuse me. I need to go don my bulletproof vest. I feel very vulnerable sitting here in our dining room, and it's really really dangerous right now. Seriously.

Yeah, stupid slip-up by HRC. All that negative press focused on Obama and she gives him an opening to throw it all back on her . . not a well run campaign at all.

Actually, no pun intended, I think I misspoke. After reading a CNN article I'm inclined to believe her side of the issue. She tells the story with much more care in her autobiography (trip shortened because of reported sniper fire in the hills around the airport, or some such thing) and given that she says more sentences in a day then you or I do in a week, she probably spit out a hacked-up quickie version of events.

In all honesty if you put 10 different people in the same situation, you will get 10 different variations of what actually did happen.  Everyone remembers certain events and circumstances differently. (Hugs) Indigo

What kills me is the idea that somehow being exposed to sniperfire--let's say she had been--somehow qualifies you as having experience in foreign policy.  By that logic, we should have a lot of gang members running for office.
I'd me more impressed if she spoke a foreign langauge, which in my opinion, should be a prerequisite for running for President.

Ms. Clinton obviously has a severe case of FMS or false memory syndrome, aka Foot In Mouth disease!  Too funny!
The only thing that can save her now is if she can enlist the help of a Jedi knight to 'convince' the voters that they really didn't hear what she said and to be on their way.
