Great 9/11 picture.  It's nice to see that instead of the destruction that is typical.

Nice reminder ~ it is still mind boggling to me that actually happened.

This day is always a reminder to me to help those I can now, because you never know when you will no longer have the chance. ~Mary

It looked stunning at night. In retrospect you know an odd thing? Not being a New Yorker, the only (slight) knowledge of the WTC's existence was from the '93 attack and if I'd thought about it, Jessica Lange's King Kong.

I always found it odd that terrorists were so obsessed with an office building with little or no meaning for 99% of America, and ironic that their actions made the WTC the very symbolic center of the US they imagined it to be.

I love what Dan said (ahead of me).  I feel exactly the same way.  Very beautiful picture.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. It may have been one of the saddest days in our country's history, but when I put aside all the hate from society that I witnessed it was nice to see people coming together. When I say together, I mean humanity working as one that day. From every small town, to every big city around the world. Just from my own first hand accounts here im Sprinfield, Illinois, I remember the tears, and the unity. I saw more pay it fowards that week, than I have in my whole life. The real tradedy is that it shouldn't take terrorist for us to love each other, or to work together for a greater change. With that being said, I wish it didn't happen, but I choose to look at the positive side on every day in our lives. So, in the words of Charles Dickens "God bless us, everyone".

Thank you,

wes
